We build for the workforce that software usually forgets.
Most workforce software is designed for people with a laptop, a company email address and a desk. That leaves out the cleaners, carers, guards, drivers, site crews and shift workers who make up an enormous share of the working world — and whose attendance is the hardest to establish and the most consequential to get wrong.
What we believe
- Evidence beats assertion. An attendance system that produces numbers nobody can substantiate has moved the argument, not settled it.
- Exceptions are the product. Any system can record a normal day. The ones that survive are the ones with a proper path for the dead phone, the missed punch and the late finish.
- Biometric data deserves more care than it usually gets. A face can't be reissued. Encryption, non-disclosure and genuine erasure aren't features — they're the minimum.
- Access should be composed, not assumed. Job titles are a poor proxy for what someone should be able to see or change.
- Scale is a design decision, not a later problem. Attendance data grows every single day, and a schema that ignores that becomes unusable in year three.
What the name means
WMS is Workforce Management System. 360 is the coverage — a full circle, every side of the working day rather than one slice of it.
That second half is the harder promise, and it is the one most attendance products quietly break. Capturing a punch is the easy part. A system only becomes useful once it also handles the dead phone, the missed punch, the late finish, the leave policy that differs by staff group, the supervisor who should see one zone and not the whole organization, and the auditor who asks nine months later who approved what. WMS360 is named for covering all of it, and the capability list is where that claim is either kept or exposed.
Where WMS360 came from
WMS360 was built for a large distributed workforce with genuinely difficult requirements: thousands of field and office staff, dozens of sites, biometric verification, geofencing, and a compliance obligation that made the audit trail non-negotiable. Those constraints shaped a system that turns out to fit any organization with the same underlying problem — which is why it isn't sold as vertical-specific software.
